What a way to begin the New Year! Superstar Jackie Chan recently visited Hebei – a very poverty-stricken Chinese province.
There he provided medicines, clothes and food of worth $480,000 among the deprived villagers. The worthy contribution was made from his own Jackie Chan Charity Foundation. Previously he donated sum of $64,000 to the villagers of Wangjiawan to make motor-pumped water well so they can use it at the time of drought. He later visited the spot to look over the development and was happy to see what he expected to be built.
Chan has thanked all reporters for reporting such deprive places and believes that more people get to know of such places, more people will surely come with donations to help them.
