Katie Holmes had recently caused quite the racket when she appeared at a murder trial.
Katie, 34, recently attended a trial to watch prosecutor Leigh Bishop, her friend, fight a case where a father shook his baby girl to death.
The case has been in court since 2007 during which Li Hangbin, 28, the father has been in police custody.
Sources say that Katie only sat through the opening statement and then left. She is supposed to have lots of free time nowadays since her Broadway play was scrapped by producers after just 6 weeks. The reason for this was poor ticket sales.
